Last Opportunity Is Labor Day

by Ark Encounter on September 2, 2015

Traditionally, Labor Day marks the official end of summer in many people’s minds, and this year’s Labor Day is as late as it can get, September 7. Usually vacation travel slows down since the kids are all back in school. As a result, we will be closing the Ark Construction Observation to free up labor. We need to bring back to the Creation Museum the Guest Service staff that were placed there to answer any questions and to assure the safety of our visitors.

Closing the observation area doesn’t mean that guests to this website cannot see what the latest construction looks like. We will be diligent to keep our readers informed on the day-to-day operations as we move toward completion both at the site and back at the design studio.

So you have about five days left to see this once-in-a-lifetime marvel of engineering that has sent even our modern designers and engineers back to the drawing board a couple of times. For some of the latest and best photos of the construction site, see Ken Ham’s blog post “East Tower Completed at Ark Site.”
