“When Are You Going To Start Building?”

We hear this question all the time. And what’s really amazing is that sometimes it comes from people who live in the Greater Cincinnati area. The Ark property has been under construction for over a year now. The most recent arrival to the property is a huge crane that will be used to lift the bents in place once they are assembled on the ground by Amish crews.

We have also opened up the Ark Construction Observation and have staffed it with Guest Services personnel to answer questions and to ensure the safety of our guests. We have to be careful that nobody wanders into the “Hard Hat” area. This massive construction site will have as many as 170 people working on it this summer! We have provided binoculars for the viewing pleasure of our guests. Here is a picture of our first guests to come check it out.

In the meantime, back at the Ark Design Studio, we are amassing quite the collection of props! This is the latest acquisition.
