We love to take the Answers in Genesis drone out to the Ark Encounter site to shoot footage of the ship from hundreds of feet in the air. The video doesn’t do the size of the Ark justice, until you see the people standing on top. Ken Ham, Answers in Genesis president and CEO, is one of the people waving from the top deck toward the end of the video. See if you can spot him. It’s tricky since the Ark is so big in comparison.
If you watched the video, you just saw a flyover from I-75 to the parking lot, then up the shuttle road to the back of the Ark, and then around to the front of the massive ship. You were even able to tour a section of the inside ramps that are quickly taking shape. We’re already laying wood floors, and soon we’ll be installing exhibits. The stern is under construction and the bow section will be started in March.
If you compare the video you just watched to this one below (from just a few months ago in October 2015), you’ll see how much progress has been made in such a short time.
You could be one of the first people to walk on those three decks of the life-size Noah’s Ark. Why not reserve your tickets for a visit during the first 40 days and 40 nights of the Ark Encounter’s opening. We encourage you to bring your whole family on vacation and visit some of the other exciting attractions in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area while you’re here.
Within the first 40 days, you can choose to experience daytime or nighttime entry. Both will offer you a unique atmosphere, with views of the rolling Kentucky hills during the day and the sunset at night.
This is going to be one of the greatest Christian outreaches of our day, and will be a spectacular, world-class attraction.
Plan your visit to the life-size Ark!
