When your family visits the Ark Encounter, there is so much to see and do in addition to walking through the teaching exhibits inside our life-size Noah’s Ark and seeing our animals inside the Ararat Ridge Zoo. Each day, we host a variety of videos and presentations inside the Answers Center, including gospel concerts from our resident artists, TrueSong!
TrueSong spreads the good news of Christ through their singing. They feature a great blend of outstanding voices and music you can sing along with. When you hear the group live at the Ark Encounter, you will be treated to a music-filled event that is energetic and fun.
During a TrueSong concert, you’ll enjoy a mix of traditional hymns, newer melodies, and originals such as “In Six Days,” “Three Beating Hearts,” and their signature song, “The Word of God Is Our Foundation.” Catch a glimpse of what you will experience in the video below.
Please check our daily schedule online, or when you arrive at the Ark Encounter to see if TrueSong will be performing during your visit.
If you are looking for a gospel-centered event to attend as a family for Easter, join us at the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum for our Answers Easter Weekend, April 15–16, 2022. This special event features “living history,” Answers in Genesis’ dynamic speakers, and live worship.
On Friday, April 15, 2022, and Saturday, April 16, 2022, AiG’s Tim Chaffey will present “He is Risen: Evidences of the Resurrection” inside the Answer Center. He’ll explain the importance of the resurrection, examine the “many infallible proofs” that Jesus rose, and critique the various theories proposed by skeptics to explain away the truth of the first glorious Easter morning. Our resident artists, TrueSong, will also be giving a special Easter concert.
Living history is coming to the Creation Museum Easter weekend, April 15–16, 2022. What’s “living history”? It’s an exciting event for Creation Museum guests, featuring staff in accurately recreated costumes who give details on the historical background of Easter and Passover. And it’s a free event with your Creation Museum admission!
Our Easter Living History at the Creation Museum will feature three special displays: an auxiliary military camp with soldiers, a money changers’ table (like the tables Jesus flipped over in the temple in Matthew 21:12–13), and a baker’s shop.
Dr. Georgia Purdom will share “Anatomy and Physiology of the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ” on Friday and Saturday at the museum as well. You are invited to experience Jesus’ journey from the Garden of Gethsemane to Calvary through a detailed analysis of his medical and emotional condition in addition to powerful clips from the movie The Passion of the Christ. You will be sure to gain a greater appreciation of Jesus’ sacrifice this Easter season.
