New Torah Exhibit Opens at the Ark Encounter

The third deck of the life-size Noah’s Ark at the Ark Encounter looks a bit different these days! We’re excited to announce that we recently opened a brand-new exhibit featuring a Torah scroll, with teaching on how we received the Bible and what an incredible gift it is to mankind.

This new exhibit consists of a decommissioned Torah scroll (donated by those at God’s Ancient Library) and a lot of teaching signage and artifacts (or replicas of artifacts) relating to the translation and transmission of God’s written Word down through the ages. The scroll is rolled out to display the entire book of Genesis and a portion of Exodus (remember, you have to read it from right to left!). The display case has special infrastructure for air circulation, humidity, keeping insects out, etc.
