Explore Jr. Zoology

Zoology is the study of animals and their behaviors. From cute little sugar gliders to massive camels, Explore Jr. Zoology at the Ark offers an in-depth look at a variety of animals in God’s creation. Learn about animal kinds and dispersion of animals after the Flood through close-up animal encounters with our trained zoologists.

• Open to students ages five to ten.
• One parent is required to accompany their child and is responsible for transportation to and from the event.
• Explore Jr. is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Due to parking and bus transportation to the Ark Encounter, recommended arrival time is 8:30 a.m.
• Please keep in mind that some of our activities are contingent upon weather. This event is rain or shine.
• Availability is limited, so sign up today!

• $49.98 includes one parent and one child age five to ten (Ark Encounter general admission is not required or included).
• $24.99 for each additional child (Ark Encounter general admission is not required and not included).
• Includes all scheduled programs, and parking fee.
