Are you interested in drone technology? Join certified drone pilot Jessica DeFord and learn how to fly a drone for the glory of God in this interactive STEM program. Participants will be introduced to the expanding technology and use of unmanned aircraft systems in science while learning about flight safety, regulations, and operation. Each attendee will get an up-close look at a drone in action as well as build their own drone to take home and fly!

Topics Include

• Session 1: Flight Safety
• Session 2: Chart Reading
• Session 3: Drone Construction
• Session 4: Test Flying Drones

Open to students ages 18 and up.

Drone Exploration is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Due to parking and bus transportation to the Ark Encounter, recommended arrival time is 8:30 a.m.
