It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s a drone! Learn how to fly a drone for the glory of God in this interactive STEM program. Students will be introduced to the expanding technology and use of unmanned aircraft systems in science while learning about flight safety, regulations, and operation. Each participant will get an up-close look at a drone in action as well as build their own drone to take home and fly!
Open to students ages 11 to 18 years of age.
One parent is required to accompany their children.
Explore Drones is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Each Explore Day includes a minimum of three hands-on, interactive sessions.
Please keep in mind that some of our activities are contingent upon weather.
