This program focuses on the parts of the microscope, correct use of a microscope, and provides a glimpse into the wonder of microscopy. Every participant will receive first-hand knowledge of proper microscope operations while discovering the amazing complexity in God’s creation under the lens.
Open to students ages 11 to 18 years of age.
Explore Microscopy is a 3-hour program scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Due to parking and bus transportation to the Ark Encounter, recommended arrival time is 8:30 a.m.
Each Explore Day includes a minimum of three hands-on, interactive sessions. See sessions in the schedule below.
