Zoology is the study of animals and their behaviors. From cute little sugar gliders to massive camels, Explore Zoology at the Ark offers an in-depth look at a variety of animals in God’s creation. Learn about animal kinds and dispersion of animals after the Flood through close-up animal encounters with our trained zoologists.
One parent will be responsible for transportation to and from the location.
Open to students ages 11 to 18 years of age.
Explore Zoology is a 3-hour program scheduled from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. Due to parking and bus transportation to the Ark Encounter, recommended arrival time is 12:30 p.m.
The Explore Days program is on a four-year rotating schedule. Each Explore Day includes a minimum of three hands-on, interactive sessions. The yearly topics are provided in the schedule below.
