Animal Rides

Imagine what it was like to live in biblical times when you saddle up a donkey or a camel for a family-friendly activity.

When Can You Ride?

Camel and donkey rides are offered Monday to Saturday from 11 a.m to 7 p.m., and on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. (weather permitting).

Rides are generally open from mid-March through December, but the specific days and times when rides are offered vary by season, so be sure to check with a staff member.

How Much Does it Cost?

Tickets are $6 for donkey rides and $8 for camel rides (per person). Price includes 6% Kentucky sales tax.

Camel Ride Policies

The weight limit for riders is 250 pounds for single or 400 pounds for combined riders (distributed evenly). Riders must be at least two years old to ride. Children two to five years old may only ride with a paid adult. Because the safety of our guests is very important, all rides are subject to the discretion of the camel handler.

Donkey Ride Policies

The weight limit for riders is 225 pounds. Riders must be at least two years old to ride. Adults may walk alongside the child and donkey at no charge.
