The observation area to view the Ark’s construction is now closed, but the park will be open to the public on July 7, 2016. Plan your visit to the life-size Noah’s Ark.
Now that the wood for the Ark’s construction has arrived, many will want to visit the construction site to witness the building of the Ark. Due to the site being a hard hat work zone, we have taken measures to get our guests as safely as we can to a vantage point so that they will be able to watch the crews assembling the lumber and timbers in sections called bents, and then the placing of those bents on the foundation of piers. Beginning June 1, 2015, our guests will be able to observe the Ark being built by Amish crews through the summer months. Tickets are required for this once-in-a-lifetime event at a cost of $20 per vehicle, unless, of course, you are a Creation Museum member; then the cost is just $10 per vehicle. If you are an Ark Encounter Boarding Pass member, your admittance is free, but you will still need a ticket. Members should call Reservations (800-721-2298) to reserve their tickets. Others interested in reserving tickets ahead of time should visit the Ark Encounter website for ticket details. The observation area will be open seven days a week (some restrictions apply) from 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Due to a lack of space for turn around, please, no buses, semis, or RVs.
