September Progress

It has been really exciting to see the ongoing progress in the construction at the Ark site in the month of September. The following pictures were taken in the past month and show the development not readily seen from the outside.

Installing the wooden floor on one of the decks.

Installing a sewer line going under the creek .

The stairs in one of the towers.

The area where more concrete footers are being poured, upon which more piers will be placed.

How they poured the floor of the bookstore.

The construction of walls and rooms in one of the towers.

The placing of a precast in one of the towers to form a floor.

The footers that are being poured at the other end of the Ark to extend it in that direction. This picture makes you wonder if the Ark Encounter will be the highest point in Grant County since you can see for miles around.
