In a show of appreciation to all of the workers at the site for a job well done thus far on the Ark Encounter, the Troyer Group provided a barbeque luncheon this past Monday. In addition to enjoying their lunch, they were able to spend some time with CEO and president Ken Ham, who shared the vision and mission of Answers in Genesis, the Creation Museum, and the Ark Encounter. Each of the attendants was also given a copy of the New Answers Book along with a family pass to the Creation Museum.
These workers are some of the first that are experiencing the economic effects of the Ark being built in Northern Kentucky. During Ken’s talk, he shared with them the future benefits that are in store for this region. Not only will the Ark Encounter employ hundreds of workers, but thousands will experience the effect of the influx of millions of tourists who will need hotel rooms, restaurants, fuel, and places to scratch that shopping itch.
