Ways to Use Snapchat at the Ark Encounter

by Ark Encounter on November 3, 2016

At the Ark Encounter, we are always looking for opportunities to engage with our guests in ways that are culturally relevant. We hope these methods help spark conversations about biblical truths to those around us. We recently released exclusive Snapchat geofilters for guests to use during their visit for a limited time, but that is not all you can do with this smartphone app. Here are four ways you can use Snapchat to share your Ark Encounter experience with your family and friends.

Use Exclusive Filters

On specified days, including this Friday (November 4) and Saturday (November 5), you will have access to one or more of our three exclusive filters. Add the Ark- or Rainbow-Covenant-inspired filter to your favorite photo, or try out Noah’s beard to see how you would look with one!

Add Text and Emojis

You can also add text and emojis to let your friends and family see what you are learning and experiencing as you walk through the Ark Encounter. Caption your photo with a simple description, place an emoji on your photo, or use both!
