Meet the 2020 Answers for Women Speakers

by Ark Encounter on January 23, 2020

We are just weeks away from our annual women’s conference at the Answers Center! Taking place on March 27–28, 2020, this year’s theme is “Truth: Uncovering the Lies We Believe.” We are going to dive into the lies that we have let creep into the church and learn how to respond with truth.

We have an incredible lineup of speakers for this year’s conference. These renowned teachers will help women from all stages of life understand God’s truth and how it applies to them.

Meet the Speakers

Kay Arthur

Kay Arthur’s exciting, practical approach to the Scriptures has influenced thousands to use the Precept Inductive Bible Study method in their personal studies. Her distinguished Christian character, Bible teaching, championing of biblical literacy, and national radio and television programs motivate others to discover truth for themselves. Kay’s passion is for people to be established in God’s Word.

Kay is the teacher and host of Precepts for Life™, a daily television, radio, and online program. It takes students through the Bible book-by-book, verse-by-verse using the Inductive Bible Study method.

Dr. Georgia Purdom

Dr. Georgia Purdom

Dr. Georgia Purdom is a familiar face at the Answers Center. She holds a PhD in molecular genetics from The Ohio State University, and formerly served as an assistant and associate professor of biology at Mt. Vernon Nazarene University. Sarah Mally

Sarah Mally

Sarah is the founder of Bright Lights, a discipleship ministry designed to equip young ladies to use the years of their youth fully for Christ. This ministry started as a girls’ Bible study in her living room in 1996 when Sarah was 17. As the ministry grew, Sarah began to train and equip other ladies to disciple younger girls. As of 2019, about 750 Bright Lights groups have started in 47 states and 18 countries. Bright Lights hosts conferences for mothers and daughters. It also trains leaders of Bright Lights groups and provides discipleship material for young ladies.

Sarah’s latest book, Speak Truth in Your Heart, challenges girls to identify the lies that are the root issues behind the struggles they face and to replace them with the truth of God’s Word.

Ken Ham

Ken Ham

Perhaps the most familiar name on the speaker lineup, Ken Ham is the CEO and founder of Answers in Genesis, the Creation Museum, and, of course, the Ark Encounter.

As a biblical apologist, Ken gives numerous faith-building talks. He deals with topics such as the reliability of the Bible, how compromise over biblical authority has undermined society and even the church, how to witness more effectively, and more. Ken’s emphasis is on the relevance and authority of the book of Genesis to the life of the average Christian, and how compromise on Genesis has opened a dangerous door regarding how the culture and church view biblical authority.
