Kids Receive Free Admission to the Ark Encounter in 2022

In case you haven’t heard the news, we’ve extended an exciting promotion—kids 10 and under will get to enjoy free admission through 2022! This offer makes it easier for families with young children to visit the Ark Encounter.

We want to reach as many of the next generation as possible with biblical truth and get answers to those who are hungry for God’s Word. That’s why we’re offering free Ark Encounter and Creation Museum admission to all kids for the third year in a row. There’s no limit to the number of children that can come for free this year—every child 10 and under receives free admission (though, of course, children must be accompanied by at least one adult!).

We love seeing families, Christian schools, and churches taking advantage of this offer and bringing many, many children. It’s a big step of faith for us, but we’re so excited by how God is using it to bring even more families to our attractions in northern Kentucky to learn his truth and hear the gospel message. We want to do all we can to help pass on a spiritual legacy and raise up godly generations.

What to Expect

When you visit the Ark Encounter, your family will enjoy three decks of world-class, biblical learning exhibits inside the Ark. Outside, you’ll find many more things for the whole family to do. Our Answers Center hosts daily programs, concerts, and presentations. Kids of all ages enjoy discovering animals from around the world in our Ararat Ridge Zoo and running and climbing all over our massive family-friendly playground. In our virtual reality experience, A Flood of Reality! (additional cost), you can also travel back to the time of Noah.

Coming This Year—A Unique Carousel

There’s always something exciting happening at the Ark Encounter. Construction is currently underway on a number of projects, including a custom carousel from a company in Italy. If all goes according to plan, this should be installed by summer 2022.

This carousel will complete our children’s area at the Ark, which already features a state-of-the-art playground for families and children of all abilities. We plan to offer carousel rides free with Ark admission, and it will be housed indoors so guests can enjoy it all year regardless of the weather. The building to house the carousel is well under construction.

Special artwork depicting animals coming to the Ark, along with some custom animals to ride on (which guests will recognize from the exhibits inside the Ark), will make this a one-of-a-kind carousel.
