While the 2021–22 school year is winding down in schools and homes across the country, now is the perfect time to start making plans for your high school students and their lab opportunities. For the next school year, we will be offering six lab opportunities across five different fields of science.
These labs are very popular with homeschoolers, but we’ve also had public school and Christian school students attend our labs as a supplement to their science classes. Learn more about what’s in store for our high school lab program for the 2022–2023 school year.
For the first time, we will be offering a full year of biology labs here at the Ark Encounter this year! Additionally, five lab courses will be offered at the Creation Museum: biology, chemistry (already sold out!), environmental science, forensic science, and physical science.
Each course is uniquely designed to present content through engaging and innovative lab experiences in our brand-new Answers Education Lab in the Answers Center and the Creation Education Lab at the museum. Most of our labs begin in September (the museum’s biology lab begins August 30) and continue throughout the school year.
These labs are full-day programs, running from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on their scheduled days. Each course includes 12 sessions, each with a pair of two-hour labs for a total of 24 labs. Our biology, environmental science, and physical science courses are designed for students ages 14 and up, while students who are 15 years old or older can participate in our chemistry and forensic science courses.
Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity for your high school student! Space is limited to 40 students at the Ark Encounter and 20 for each course at the Creation Museum, so please register early.
