The Second T. rex

by Ark Encounter on July 31, 2015

With the deadline to open the Ark Encounter about a year away, the exhibit designers have multiple projects going on at once, and they have absolutely no time to waste. It took about ten weeks to make the first T. rex model, so the team came up with an ingenious way to make the second dinosaur in the T. rex pair in much less time. Levi Sherman, an exhibit artist working on the Ark Encounter project, explains in this video how they are using Vaseline, playing cards, and a bit of pink dye to make their masterpiece.
