Use the Ark Encounter to Start a Gospel Conversation

by Ark Encounter on February 26, 2016
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19–20).

As you seek to share the message of salvation with unbelievers, you can use the Ark Encounter attraction to springboard into a conversation about the gospel and the Bible’s authenticity. The biblical account of Noah’s Ark is one of the most questioned accounts throughout Scripture, and it’s a stumbling block to many who believe that the account is impossible as it is written. But if you’re equipped with a few answers to defend biblical history, talking about the gospel of Jesus Christ will be easy. Let us help.

Watch Answers in Genesis Vice President Dale Mason in action as he interacts with visitors to the Ark Encounter booth at the National Religious Broadcasters convention in Nashville, Tennessee. See how he’s able to start a conversation by mentioning the neat attraction that’s opening soon in Northern Kentucky. Quickly he’s able to swing the conversation and add in apologetics information about animal kinds and the door Noah went through to be saved.

We think you can do this too. Feel unequipped? Learn more about Noah’s Ark and the Flood on the Answers in Genesis website, get the stats about the Ark Encounter on the Ark website, find videos about the Ark to share with your friends, and learn the answers to common questions about science and the Bible in one of our helpful resources The New Answers Books.

Here’s Ken Ham, president and CEO of Answers in Genesis and the Ark Encounter, explaining the purpose behind the evangelistic Ark Encounter.
