Save the Dates: ChristmasTime at the Ark Encounter Returns

Christmas is coming! And we’re getting ready to welcome guests for our annual Christmas traditions, ChristmasTime at the Ark Encounter and ChristmasTown at the Creation Museum. Beginning the day after Thanksgiving (November 25, 2022), on select nights through December 30, enjoy stunning light displays, a family Christmas program, festive food, Christmas shopping, and more.

Here’s what you will experience when you join us to celebrate this special time of the year.

Life-Size Noah’s Ark Lit up in Rainbow Colors & More

When you join us for this year’s Christmas event at the Ark Encounter, you’ll enjoy seeing the life-size Noah’s Ark lit up in rainbow colors, gorgeous lights throughout the grounds, a family Christmas program in the 2,500-seat Answers Center, Ararat Ridge Zoo, carousel rides, and more—all for free (you just pay for parking). Enhance your visit with our stunning VR experience (additional ticket purchase required).

Continue the Celebration at the Creation Museum

Make sure to add ChristmasTown at the Creation Museum to your family’s traditions this year! Enjoy a breathtaking garden of lights with new designs added each year, lit-up dinosaurs throughout the grounds, a live nativity (including live animals), and more. This event is free—you just pay for parking! Upgrade your experience by enjoying The Christmas Star in our Stargazer Planetarium or zipping over the Christmas lights (additional ticket purchases required).

We’re Hiring Staff for the Christmas Season

And you can also join us for ChristmasTown and ChristmasTime in a different way—by joining us for a seasonal position at one of our attractions. We’re hiring for the busy Christmas season in guest services, culinary, housekeeping, and more.
