A major theatrical production is coming to the Ark Encounter this January—C. S. Lewis’ The Horse and His Boy. You won’t want to miss this Broadway-level production featuring a cast of 45 actors, lifelike puppetry, stunning sets, and mesmerizing costumes. It’s going to be incredible!

The Horse and His Boy’s Story

The Horse and His Boy is the third book in the Narnia series and features the exciting story of Shasta and Bree.

When Shasta and Bree, a talking horse, plan their escape from slavery to the land of Narnia and freedom, they soon realize the journey holds far more danger than they could have ever imagined. With an army ready to attack the countries of the North, Shasta and Bree’s journey becomes a race against time to not only escape the slavery they have known but to save Narnia and the North!

Logos Theater Production

This production is put on by Logos Theatre and premiered in South Carolina in 2019. Since then, it has had multiple runs—including at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D. C.—and will be running next at the Freedom Encounter in Branson, Missouri, before coming to the Ark Encounter on select dates January 10–20, 2024.*
