The fall season is upon us at the Ark Encounter. With cooler temperatures and the beauty of God’s creation surrounding you, this is the perfect time of the year to explore the Ark Encounter grounds during your visit to our life-size Noah’s Ark. Since many schools will begin their fall breaks over the next couple of weeks, add a trip to the Ark Encounter to your plans.
Spend time outside exploring the West Village, located on the bow side of the Ark. Here you can listen to live music while you enjoy a gourmet hot dog from Shem’s Snack Shack or flatbread sandwich from Zofar’s. Be sure to check out the fair trade items available for sale in Trader Muki’s, or take home a special gift from Potter’s Wheel.
While you tour the Ararat Ridge Zoo, don’t miss your opportunity to take a camel or donkey ride! Get a unique view of the Ark while riding one of these amazing animals, and imagine what it was like to live in biblical times during this family-friendly activity.
Camel and donkey rides are offered Monday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. (weather permitting). Tickets are $6 for donkey rides and $8 for camel rides (per person).
The fall season is a great time to take a ride on our Screaming Eagle Aerial Adventures zip lines. We now have three different zip line levels to choose from. Make it a day of adventure by adding the free fall jumps and adventure course as well!
Planning to visit the Ark Encounter during fall break? Consider purchasing a combo ticket or an unlimited 7-day combo so you can also spend time at our sister attraction, the Creation Museum. Combo tickets come with one admission to the Ark Encounter and two entries to the Creation Museum within a one-week period.
With the unlimited 7-day combo, you will receive a pass for seven consecutive days of unlimited admission to both attractions. It also includes free parking at the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter.
