We’re excited to announce that our popular Explore Days are returning to the Ark Encounter this spring! If your students are interested in learning more about botany and zoology from a biblical worldview, this is the program for them. Learn more about Explore Days and Explore Jr. opportunities your students can participate in below.
Our Explore Jr. program is a day of discovery and adventure tailored to younger children ages 5 and up. This spring, we will be offering Explore Jr. Zoology twice (April 30, 2021, and May 21, 2021) and Explore Jr. Botany on May 12, 2021.
From cute, little sugar gliders to massive camels, Explore Jr. Zoology at the Ark Encounter offers an in-depth look at a variety of animals in God’s creation. Learn about animal kinds and the dispersion of animals after Noah’s flood through close-up animal encounters with our trained zoologists.
Explore Jr. Botany at the Ark will investigate the beauty and design of the plant kingdom through a behind-the-scenes experience with the horticulture staff at the Ark Encounter greenhouses.
We will be also offering our Explore Botany on Friday, May 19, 2021. This program is designed to enhance your student’s understanding of the plant kingdom through hands-on application and critical thinking.
Are you looking for a Christian educational experience for your child this summer? Look no further than our unique Explore Camps at our sister attraction, the Creation Museum! These day camps feature hands-on science and biblical worldview teaching, and your child is sure to love them.
This summer, we’re offering two 5-Day Explore Camps, a 3-Day Explore Forensics camp, and a special 3-day camp with the STEM group Teach Me Automation. These are available for students ages 11 years old and up.
Many Explore Days sell out, so register today to ensure your students’ spot. We can’t wait for your students to experience and enjoy these opportunities at the Ark Encounter!
